Scenic Art + Design
My Story
I completed my undergraduate study at The University of Texas at Austin where I graduated with dual degrees in Radio/Television/Film and Theater & Dance - focusing on set design, construction, and scenic art. After graduation, I worked as the Assistant Scenic Charge at Texas Performing Arts on the UT Austin campus - maintaining daily shop operations and assisting in the instruction of undergraduate and graduate students. Since 2014, I have been based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex as a freelance artist working on many theater, ballet, opera, and film productions and working with educational institutions such as Southern Methodist University, the University of North Texas, and Texas Christian University. I have been the Resident Scenic Charge at Casa Manana since 2015 where I manage the paint department for the company's 11-show season. Recently, I completed my Master in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.
